Samsung Unveils 2026 QLED and Mini LED TVs with AI Soccer Mode

Samsung has announced its 2026 lineup of QLED and Mini LED televisions, featuring a new AI-powered Soccer Mode designed to enhance the viewing experience for the upcoming World Cup. The range includes the QN80H and QN70H QLED models, alongside the M80H and M70H Mini LED TVs, with prices starting at $350.

Enhanced Picture Quality and Features

The QLED series leverages Mini LED backlighting combined with Quantum Dot technology for vivid color reproduction, available in screen sizes from 43 to 100 inches. The Mini LED models, M80H and M70H, build on the success of the 2025 U8000 series, delivering bright, accurate colors and high contrast. A larger 100-inch M90H model is slated for release later in the year.

All TVs except the M70H include Samsung’s AI Soccer Mode, which dynamically adjusts picture settings to mimic a live stadium atmosphere. During testing, the mode was observed to exaggerate color saturation—particularly greens and reds—to make on-screen action more visually striking. The AI also includes the Samsung Vision AI Companion with Bixby, enabling features like the AI Sound Controller for customizable audio adjustments.

Gaming and Streaming Capabilities

The QN80H, QN70H, and M80H models support PC gaming with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the M80H further enhances this with DLG 240Hz for smoother motion. All models run on Tizen OS, offering integrated streaming services, gaming platforms, and the FAST TV Plus service. Samsung also expanded its Live Translate feature, now supporting more languages for real-time translation of content via Samsung TV Plus or over-the-air broadcasts. The company guarantees up to seven years of Tizen OS updates for each TV.
